As Client Services, you will be responsible to support the Managing Matters team to provide website, registration, reservation and administrative support for clients.   

 

Interested in the day to day duties? The responsibilities listed below are a general outline of some of the Client Services duties. Responsibilities may vary from client to client.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of designated client event websites and other- content, registration and reservations

  • Manage and maintain registration process for designated client events

  • Customer enquiry management and support 

  • Ensure positive client experience and relationship management for designated clients through their projects or events

  • Handle incoming client service or support related requests as per designated clients projects/events

  • Resolve problems and assist members and clients with requests 

  • Manage client databases and execute functions and reports as required to track and support program and event details

  • Analyze client data, troubleshoot, and report client inquiries and needs.

  • Bring recommendations forward for process improvements

  • Coordinate with all team members and support where appropriate to correct and enhance details related to required programs and events

  • Email marketing

  • Update MM team members as required on database, website or program technology changes

  • Engage in continuous performance evaluation for specified client projects or events

  • Establish positive image for Client Services by interacting with team members, members and vendors

 

Desired skills and Experience:

  • Comfort in using association and event management software and databases. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Relevant post-secondary education with a minimum of 2-4 years in project management and/ or events planning

  • Experience in creating websites and website content

  • Experience in working with a graphic designer considered an asset

  • Experience in Association Management considered an asset

  • Participation in creation and initiation of sponsorship initiatives for virtual and live events and/or association management is an asset

  • Ability to work in a team and independently

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively on various projects simultaneously

  • Excellent organization skills and ability to take care of details while managing multiple tasks and working under time constraints

  • Advanced computer skills including MS office and Excel are extremely important, as well as experience using various email marketing tools
