Lyn is a trusted Human Resources professional with 20 years’ experience in the not-for-profit industry. Graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in Urban and Economic Planning, Lyn launched her career in the realm of group purchasing for the healthcare industry supporting contracts specialized in Medical Surgical Supplies and Food and Nutrition for healthcare facilities across Canada.

Lyn’s move to the not-for-profit industry encompassed numerous leadership roles at multiple levels of governance within the amateur sport space. In support of her service and passion for not-for-profits, Lyn completed her certification in Project Management through Mount Royal University (PMBOK aligned) as well as her certification for Human Resources Management with Sheridan College and is now carries a Professional Human Resources CHRP designation.

Lyn is well known for building strong teams and foundational pathways for recruitment with universities and colleges. Lyn has an absolute commitment to coaching, development and training for internal team members with a proven ability to execute strategic vision while creating and aligning systems and processes to ensure internal capacity.

When Lyn is not working, she can be found buried in a good book, travelling the world, following the Leafs in pursuit of watching them play at every arena in the NHL, and enjoying the companionship of her family and numerous rescue cats.
